Mariah's New Year's Resolutions
I wanted to share with you my New Year's Resolutions because I want to be held accountable for my goals and my dreams. While I know that you may not care about them as much as I do (and that is okay!), I wanted to share with you that I am a journey to be a better person, wife, mom and friend. I also wanted to share that I do not have my life perfectly planned nor do I have my ish together. But does anyone really?
Maybe you stopped making New Year's Resolutions because you never stuck to them. Maybe you stopped because you can set a goal and chase after it when ever you want! Or maybe you have been hesitant to make a resolution because you do not want to disappoint yourself or someone else. Or maybe you have been told your dreams were silly and that you shouldn't want to chase that dream.
All of these reasons have been used by me as an excuse for not taking the time to identify a goal and go after it. And I decided that this year would be different. That I would live intentionally for the next 12 months. For the next 365 days, I am going to be intentional with how I spend my time and I am going to actively take steps to achieve my dreams. Anyone else want to do that?
One of my New Year's Resolutions is to help other's live more intentional, present lives. So I decided to start a New Year's Resolution Challenge. Each month, I will post a blog post that goes over where I am at in my goals, practical tips to help you achieve your goals and all of the highs and lows that may happen from now until December 31, 2019. Tomorrow, I will be posting a blog posts about how to make and keep your New Year's Resolutions, where you will be able to sign up for the challenge. It is completely free and will be customized to you!
After I go over the challenge, I will share with you my New Year's Resolutions. Are you ready?
First off, the challenge is completely free. That being said, I value my time and if I see that you are not committing fully, I have the right to stop working with you. Please remember that I am a working mom, who manages her blog in the evenings and on the weekends. That being said, if you feel discouraged or like you have slacked off, let me know. We can work together to get you back where you want to be.
Secondly, this challenge does require you to put in time and effort. YOU are responsible for chasing your dreams. No one will do it for you. No one will want it as badly as you. You have to truly be ready for change and decide that this is your year to thrive.
For this challenge, along with the monthly blog post recapping my progress, you will also receive my Weekly Newsletter and custom emails on how to chase your specific dreams. Yep! You read that correctly, I will be helping you identify how you are going to chase your dreams - on a one on one basis through email.
Please note that this program is free and is done purely to help you succeed. I am in no way financially, mentally or spiritually responsible for your actions. As I said, you are ultimately responsible for your dreams and your actions (or lack thereof.) I am your cheerleader and will be cheering you on!
Okay, now that I have gotten all of the important information about the challenge out of the way, I wanted to share with you what my New Year's Resolutions are. This is hopefully to inspire you. I encourage you to dig deep to identify what you are hoping to gain from this and create your own goals.
